These terms describe using SlideLocal to recognize, edit, and export slide images.

Your content

You retain ownership of your content. Use only materials you own or have permission to process. You are responsible for your content and for how you use or share exported presentations and backups.

Free export allowances

Guests can export one PPTX per day. A signed-in free account has a separate allowance of two PPTX exports per day; signing out and back in does not grant another allowance. Daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC.

Exporting an entire deck counts as one export, regardless of its number of pages. Importing images does not consume an export. Once the current allowance is exhausted, attempts to add images or export again show the sign-in or plan guide. Your current edits remain available.

We use a first-party cookie, a locally generated browser fingerprint hash, and server-side quota records to apply limits and reduce abuse. See the privacy notice for details. Do not circumvent these limits through repeated sign-ins or automated requests.

Pro subscriptions

When checkout is available, Pro costs US$2 per month for unlimited local PPTX exports. Applicable taxes and the final total are shown at checkout before you pay. Pro does not include cloud storage or cross-device synchronization. Payment and billing are handled by Dodo Payments.

A subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Use Subscription & billing to open the billing portal, update payment details, or cancel. Your verified subscription status and billing portal show the applicable billing period and when cancellation takes effect. Pro access is enabled only after payment is confirmed by our account service, and may end when the paid period ends or a payment is reversed or not completed.

Any refund request is subject to applicable law and the terms presented at checkout; these terms do not promise automatic refunds. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Review your results

Text recognition and background repair can produce errors. Review text, positioning, fonts, and image quality before relying on or sharing an export. Not every part of a slide becomes editable: the background remains an image, and image regions can be extracted manually. The service does not guarantee a perfect reconstruction of the original.

Save a backup

Browser drafts are a convenience, not permanent storage. Browser cleanup, storage limits, private browsing, and device changes can remove or make drafts unavailable. Download an .itppt backup when you need to continue later, and a PPTX when you need an editable presentation.

Use of the service

Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to infringe others’ rights. Keep your account and downloaded content secure. Service availability and processing performance depend on your network, browser, device, and input files.

Third-party software

Google sign-in and third-party presentation applications have their own terms. Fonts may carry their own licenses; check the license before redistributing font files or using them in your work.
