A few useful details.
What becomes editable?
Recognized text becomes editable PowerPoint text boxes. You can manually extract image regions as separate movable images. The remaining background stays an image; charts and illustrations are not automatically rebuilt as native shapes.
Do my files leave my device?
No. Image processing and export run in your browser. The app downloads code, fonts, and recognition assets. Google sign-in, account, and export-allowance requests use the network, but do not include your slide images or recognized text. Read the privacy notice.
What can I import?
PNG, JPG, and WebP images. A project supports up to 30 pages, with a limit of 25 MB and 20 megapixels per image. For PDFs and existing presentations, export pages as images first.
Will it match the original perfectly?
Results depend on image clarity, typography, and background complexity. Review recognized text and adjust layout before presenting. Fonts are not automatically identified or embedded in PPTX, so install the fonts you use on the presenting device.
Can I come back to a project later?
The editor saves a draft in the current browser. Download an .itppt backup to keep a portable copy of the original images and edits. Browser data can be cleared, so keep a backup of important work.
